Our Story
Angela's Passionate Heart Foundation began with one simple act of kindness.
Before becoming a foundation, our founder, Angela Thompson, was a crossing guard who loved being of service to children. One day, while helping students cross the street, she noticed a mother crying because she could not afford to buy Christmas gifts for her children.
Believing that no child should wake up on Christmas morning with nothing, Angela asked the mother how many children she had and purchased gifts for them. Seeing the joy and excitement on their faces inspired her to ask, how many other families may be struggling too?
That one act of kindness grew into a mission. For the past 15 years, Angela has provided toys and holiday joy to children and families in the community.
Today, Angela's Passionate Heart Foundation continues that mission by supporting children, uplifting families, and serving the community through programs, resources, outreach, and acts of kindness.
What started with one family's tears became a passion for serving many.

OUR MISSION
Angela's Passionate Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and uplifting our community. We provide essential resources, programs, and services that empower young people to thrive while helping families access the support they need. One of our largest community initiatives is our annual toy drive, which brings joy and relief to children and families in need each year.
